Editorial policy

The reasoning comes before the recommendation.

01

Original analysis

Every guide is written for this site and organized around a specific decision. Third-party material must add context and be meaningfully analyzed rather than copied or lightly rephrased.

02

Honest evidence

The site distinguishes general decision guidance from hands-on experience. It does not claim to have tested a product unless that testing actually occurred and can be described clearly.

03

No pay-to-rank

Companies cannot purchase a position in a guide. Sponsored work, free products, and commercial relationships will be labeled prominently if they are ever accepted.

04

Affiliate disclosure

The site currently contains no affiliate links. If they are introduced, the relationship will be disclosed beside relevant links and in a clear site-wide statement. Editorial conclusions will not depend on commission rates.

05

Useful without links

A guide should still help the reader after every commercial link is removed. When a purchase is unnecessary, the guide should say so.

06

Corrections and updates

Material corrections should be made promptly. Guides are dated so readers can judge freshness, and content that no longer reflects the current decision will be revised or retired.
