About this project
A calmer way to choose technology.
Lorfat Gear Notes is an independent publication about gaming, streaming, and desk equipment. It starts with the room, routine, and problem—not the product catalogue.
Why it exists
Technology advice often begins with a ranked list. That makes comparison easy, but it can hide the decisions that matter: where the equipment will live, who shares the room, how frequently it will be used, and what maintenance it adds.
These guides make that reasoning visible. They are designed to remain useful even when every brand name and purchase link is removed.
Who writes it
The site is created under the name Lorfat. It draws on practical software, gaming, and home-technology interests while avoiding claims of product testing that has not taken place.
Corrections
If a guide contains an error or an unclear claim, it should be corrected rather than quietly defended. A public contact channel will be added before reader submissions or commercial links are introduced.
